Water collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server. The app makes no network connections at all, so nothing you record can leave your device.
Everything Water records is written to your device and stays there:
The app shares this data with its own Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets through an Apple App Group. That is a shared folder between the app and its widget on the same device. It is not a network service and no other app can read it.
The app's privacy manifest, which Apple publishes on the App Store listing, declares no collected data types and no tracking.
One honest caveat. If you back up your iPhone — to iCloud or to a computer — that backup is made by Apple's software and may include Water's stored data, in the same way it includes data from your other apps. Those backups are controlled by you and by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. The developer of Water has no access to them and receives nothing from them.
Deleting the app removes its database and settings from your device. Because no copy is held anywhere else, that is the whole of it — there is no account to close and nothing to request from anyone.
Water is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Since it collects no data from anyone, it collects none from children.
If a future version of Water ever collects or transmits anything, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described plainly here rather than buried. The date at the top will tell you when it last changed.
